The Civil Defense Survival Box ™ product line comes in three different products. All three products strive to ensure the survival of up to a family of four for a period of 14 days of independent living. These emergency preparedness kit products are compact, hardened for flood/EMP Pulse/storage temperature extremes, and very portable for quick evacuation purposes. They're ready for any need in disaster supplies !
The Standard Box product (at left) comes in two, 25-27 gallon size bins of approx. 45 pounds each so that they can easily be handled by anyone and can be more easily transported in smaller sized vehicles when evacuation is required. The Standard Box contains approx. 90 different product types and in excess of 500 individual items. It strives to supply literally all, non-food needs in a disaster – and the firm conveys the customer a ready list of food needs to compile and maintain when they purchase this product.

The second product recommended to customers is the Deluxe Supplement Box. This box of survival supplies is as the name indicates…a SUPPLEMENT to the basic supplies found in the Standard Box. The product is designed variously to supply heavier duty items, additional quantities to that found in the standard box, and/or additional product items to provide even greater security and comfort in a disaster situation. The Deluxe Supplement box comes in two, 27 gallon heavy duty bins. (One of the two boxes is depicted in the picture at left). The combined weight of the two is approx. 80 pounds. The Deluxe Supplement Box contains close to 80 different product types and almost 130 individual items.

The third product customers may purchase is the "Standard Survival Box – Single Option". This is literally all product items found within the Standard Box’s TWO bins – but placed in a single, wheeled bin.
This product is ONLY recommended for those assured of having two individuals around that can lift the approx. 96 pounds that this bin weighs and has either a larger sized SUV or a pickup truck to haul the larger sized bin in.
For a single source of survival, this option is worth considering. But for most customers, the dual boxes of the Standard Survival Box will make better sense for such customers as single Moms, those of normal weight lifting capacity, or those with midsize or smaller vehicles (to transport if evacuating).

The one, only, and original Civil Defense Geiger Counter. Resistant to EMP pulse and proven over years of experience. Measures background radiation and, with provided chart, allows the user to determine the healthiness of the environment they are traveling within. Units are recertified and use one, D cell battery (packed within the available Deluxe Supplement Box) for many hours of use. DOSIMETERS
The original, "tried and true", Civil Defense atomic radiation dosimeters (2) which come from the stockpiles of the U.S. Goverrnment. Comes with one "charger" that allows for dosimeter resettings in case of multiple events. These recertified Dosimeters detect the cumulative, atomic radiation dosage that a person may have experienced and, with provided chart, allows user to determine their short term, and long term, health risks from such cumulative exposure. NOTES: A) Charger runs on D Cell battery provided within the available Deluxe Supplement Box; and, B) Two dosimeters (without a charger) come with the available Deluxe Supplement Survival Box offered.

There are no minimum order quantities for ordering the "It's a Disaster!" manual. Shipping costs vary.

Shipping, moreover, is only a $24.00 per unit for delivery anywhere in the continental United States.
